Despite the catastrophic situation prevailing in our region, the Beirut Forum hosted for the first time the "Beauty & Wellbeing Forum 2024," which brought together the realms of beauty, physical, and mental health under one roof from Thursday to Sunday.
This forum, under the patronage of the Ministries of Information, Economy, and Commerce, marked a very significant milestone in the Lebanese event landscape.
The founder of the forum, Mrs. Hanadi Dagher, stated that "despite all challenges, we decided to position Lebanon on the map of international exhibitions in the world of beauty, mental and physical health, to highlight the potential of our professionals in these fields."
The co-founder of this forum, Dr. Jad Nehmé (ENT surgeon), spoke about the importance of the wellness movement, particularly physical and mental health, under the delicate circumstances the Lebanese people are experiencing.
The Minister of Information, Ziad Makari, wished the forum and its organizers success and achievement, hoping that Lebanon remains a country full of life, a message of hope, and that Beirut remains the capital of luxury and beauty.
The Director-General of the Ministry of Economy, Mr. Mohammad Abou Haïdar, emphasized that "organizing these forums is an advantage for the Lebanese economy, they are important to attract foreign investments and restore confidence in this country."
The Vice President of the Forum, Dr. George Aoun, affirmed "this forum is an opportunity to raise awareness about the latest research, medications, modern treatments, technology, and new medical equipment, and to explore a lifestyle that nourishes the spirit, body, and soul."
The president of Women Leaders Association, Mrs. Madiha Raslan, declared that "the forum is addressed to the entire society to learn about ways to preserve physical and mental health."
This event provided an exceptional opportunity to explore many aspects of beauty and wellbeing, both physically and mentally. The goal is to influence Lebanese to improve their well-being and lifestyle. Moreover, this forum showed the world that Lebanon is full of top-notch specialists, doctors, and therapists, thus remaining an excellent country for self-care, adopting a healthy lifestyle, and fully enjoying the benefits of a detox without wanting to travel.
The selection of exhibitors focused on the best experts in their fields (beauty, lifestyle, wellbeing) to offer a unique and remarkable experience to visitors, and to launch a true culture around these themes, as the organizers aim to always provide high-quality information to the Lebanese. This forum distinguished itself by its professionalism and high level of information.
The themes addressed correspond to a holistic approach, encompassing various aspects such as physical activity and lifestyle, beauty and self-image, as well as wellbeing, to encourage Lebanese to engage in sports and adopt healthy lifestyles. This event included dedicated sections for each of these domains, accompanied by interventions from top experts. Additionally, various themes and topics were discussed during conferences and discussion panels. Thus, this forum included 4 major stages:
- A conference room discussing current topics in medical and paramedical fields
- A room on self-image showcasing cosmetic and aesthetic talents and experts
- A lifestyle stage presenting professionals in physical activities such as dance coaches, sports trainers...
- A Wellbeing stage featuring anti-stress therapy experts such as yoga and meditation, and other therapies like music therapy, aromatherapy, and laughter therapy.
Mrs. Hanadi Dagher announced to Al-Safa News, "The Beauty & Wellbeing Forum will become an annual event to remind the world, and especially the Lebanese, that Lebanon is a pioneering country in the pursuit of holistic well-being, to put our country back on the regional map. It is essential to implement these areas for a better and healthier life. We plan to be in Riyadh from October 7 to 9, then in Kuwait next January. This is a movement that started at the forum and will reach all Lebanese, in all regions and throughout the year."
