The organizers of the Beauty and Wellness Forum 2024 held a press conference on Thursday, April 5, at the headquarters of the Beirut Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where they discussed the forum. The meeting brought together a large number of journalists and media representatives, as well as influencers and social media activists.
Mr. Mohammad Choucair, President of the Federation of Lebanese Chambers of Commerce (FCCIAL), stated, "This forum is a symbol of our Lebanese identity, which we love and have defended despite difficulties. This event, which focuses on the Lebanese people to improve their quality of life, their well-being, and their health, is the foundation of a productive, healthy, and happy life. We need a country that prioritizes its people."
Ms. Hanadi Dagher, the founder of the forum, affirmed, "Lebanon is a country of beauty, culture, and civilization that is 6,000 years old, and it is not difficult to organize for the first time the largest forum dedicated to beauty and physical and mental health despite the economic situation and the great challenges unfolding in the region. We have decided to position Lebanon on the map of international exhibitions in the world of beauty, mental and physical health, in order to highlight the potential of our professionals in these fields globally." She also emphasized, "This forum is an experience to inspire and allow every Lebanese citizen to prioritize self-care and adopt a new perspective on life, as well as to discover all the sectors that enhance the name of Lebanon in the world."
Dr. Jad Nehme, founding partner, declared, "As a doctor, my goals are to serve people and take care of their health. This is at the heart of my priorities, my responsibilities, my mission as a doctor, and the oath I took to practice the profession, where I try to achieve 'human happiness' in Lebanon." He added, "The exceptional opportunity that the forum presents to visitors to interact with doctors and experts in physical and mental health is extremely important. It is crucial to focus on mental health, especially in the delicate circumstances experienced by the Lebanese people. The goal is to establish a place where people can come together in a pleasant and information-rich environment regarding health. This is a forum of experiences, self-discovery, reconciliation with oneself, and alleviation of psychological and physical stress, which is considered the main factor of diseases." He concluded, "A healthy mind is in a healthy body and vice versa! This movement launched will continue after the forum to include all of Lebanon."
Ms. Madiha Raslan, President of the Women Leaders Association (WLA), highlighted, "Lebanon is a country that creates beauty, and its people are brave and pioneering in various fields. It is important and necessary to focus on health and that Lebanese citizens must explore and follow a lifestyle that simultaneously nourishes the mind, body, and soul. This forum restores confidence to Lebanese youth and brings together energies under one roof to show that our country is still capable of offering the best and most beautiful to the whole world." She also congratulated the organizers for their boldness in facing all difficulties despite the economic situation and all the crises that Lebanon is going through.
Dr. Yousef Bakhash, President of the Beirut Order of Physicians, emphasized, "This is an opportunity to raise awareness of the latest research, medicines, modern treatments, technology, and modern medical equipment, in addition to discovering new ways to improve the quality of life in a new way and enhance well-being and health. It is necessary to raise awareness and inform the public about the importance of preventive medicine that protects against many diseases."
