From Gaza, a child cried out to his father, begging: 'Daddy, put your heart on my heart.' The cry was silenced after the rumble of tanks and the thunder of planes covered the calls of those left under the rubble, also waiting for martyrdom.
Why this crime?
Is it a reaction to the 'Al-Aqsa flood,' or the extermination of a people for what is above and below the ground, or is it for the Indo-European corridor or for the gas fields?
This crime committed by the Israeli enemy is not only against women, children, the elderly, and the innocent. It is the extermination of an entire people for the Leviathan gas field, whose reserves are estimated at about 500 billion cubic meters, and which was 'discovered in September 2010 off the coast of occupied Palestine, with part located opposite the coast of Gaza,' according to some studies.
While Israel claims that the Leviathan field belongs exclusively to it, only a small part is located in the 'Pelagic Israel' area, according to maps, and many areas are still to be discovered. Indeed, a huge amount has been discovered in the territorial waters of the Gaza Strip, as British journalist Felicity Arbuthnot wrote on December 30, 2013, on the 'Global Research' website.
What British journalist Felicity Arbuthnot reported does not contradict what the deputy president of the Palestinian and Jewish Unity Party, Bruce Katz, wrote on the Canadian website 'Canadavilles' in July 2020 under the title 'Gaza Blockade: The Whole Natural Gas Story.' He talks about the authorization given by the late Palestinian President Yasser Arafat to a British consortium for the exploitation of natural gas from Palestinian territories, which Israel prevented, later working to torpedo this project and adopt another project in collaboration with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and the US government, depriving the Palestinian Authority of any right to this gas.
Is it a reaction to the 'Al-Aqsa flood,' or the extermination of a people for what is above and below the ground, or is it for the Indo-European corridor or for the gas fields?
Israeli planning to reach October 2023
Netanyahu's announcement of the war in October 2023 against two and a half million people in the Gaza Strip is a continuation of the 'Operation Cast Lead' in Gaza in 2008-2009.
This notice initially laid the groundwork for a total military occupation of Gaza, after the Israeli army undertook the mission of exterminating the Palestinian people and relocating what remains to the Sinai or to larger lands, for the benefit of many countries that could benefit from Israel's criminal (genocidal) project, directed first towards the Gaza Strip, then towards the West Bank.
The ultimate goal is not only to exclude Palestinians from their homeland but to appropriate the natural gas reserves located in the territorial waters of Gaza, estimated in billions of dollars.
In this context, one cannot ignore the statement by Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon in 2007, which said, 'It is not possible to extract the gas without a military operation that would eliminate Hamas's control in Gaza.'
United Nations Timeline
In August 2019, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), an international organization, contributed to creating an environment conducive to the integration of developing countries into the global economy. It published a report in which it stated:
'Geologists and natural resource economists have confirmed that occupied Palestine is located above vast reserves of oil and natural gas in Area (C) of the West Bank and along the Mediterranean coast opposite the Gaza Strip.'
However, Israel continues to prevent Palestinians from exploiting their energy fields for profit. Thus, the Palestinian people are deprived of the benefits of using these natural resources to finance social and economic development and meet essential human needs.
The cumulative losses are estimated at tens of billions of dollars, and the more Israel continues to prohibit Palestinians from exploiting their oil and natural gas reserves, the higher the costs of the alternatives they bear.
Ben-Gurion Canal
Talking about the destruction of Gaza or neutralizing its effect is not unrelated to the fact that the Ben-Gurion Canal project dates back to the time of the previous Israeli Prime Minister, who bore his name. Israel seeks to make this canal an alternative to the Suez Canal. It aims to connect the port of Eilat on the Red Sea to the port of Ashkelon on the Mediterranean Sea, at the northern border of the Gaza Strip.
This project was relaunched as part of the Indian trade corridor project announced at the G20 summit under the auspices of the United States. It is a maritime and land transport corridor that connects Asia and the Middle East to Europe via the port of Haifa. It was announced to counter the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative.
According to this data related to the Ben-Gurion Canal, several reports concluded that the massive destruction caused by the Israeli war machine in the Gaza Strip was actually a preparation to change the geography of the region and eliminate obstacles or potential threats to the canal project. In this context, one can understand what was revealed about Tel Aviv's knowledge of the 'Al-Aqsa Flood' operation before it took place, but Tel Aviv ignored this information to exploit it in the implementation of this destructive project.
Oil is more precious than life
Tomorrow, when the planned projects are implemented, the cries of that mother asking the heavens why she lost her two children will disappear, looking upward waiting for a sign of mercy from all this crime. As for that child, his heart will no longer beat, he has lost it, just like his father who may have also perished.
Gaza has changed its face, and so has humanity."
