The Lebanon of history, of civilization, of culture, of freedom... Lebanon the homeland, finds itself today amid the gravest crisis in its modern history. A crisis that is not only limited to security, politics, or the economy but extends to identity and existence.

In this bleak landscape, the urgent need arises for a truly national leadership capable of redirecting the compass toward an inclusive national project, rather than floundering in the quagmire of sectarianism and the alleys of favoritism and personal interests.

What Lebanon needs today is not a president who sees the presidency as a steppingstone for personal or sectarian gains, but a leader who views the position as a responsibility to build a state of institutions.

A president who transcends narrow affiliations and prioritizes the people’s welfare above all else.

A president with a clear national vision translated into actions, beginning with eradicating the entrenched culture of corruption in all sectors of the state and rebuilding the foundational systems upon which nations are built—judiciary, economy, finance, currency, military, security, and beyond.

A president who places Lebanon first and foremost.

A president who works to restore trust between citizens and the state.

A president whose aim is to establish the rule of law and rebuild the citizens’ confidence in Lebanon and the integrity of its institutions.

A president who works for the future of coming generations, starting with the acknowledgment that Lebanon is a homeland for all its people, not a farm governed by quotas and sectarianism.

Fear God and unite

This vision demands courage and skill to implement radical reforms, including overhauling the crumbling political system and abolishing political sectarianism—a scourge of the past, present, and future. Previous experiences have shown that political sectarianism has fostered an environment ripe for corruption and deepened divisions.

What we witness today is a race among political factions to seize power at any cost, with no regard for the suffering of the people.

This political greed, confined to personal and sectarian interests, is what has led the country to complete political paralysis, crippling public institutions and administrations, and serving as the primary cause of Lebanon's decline on all fronts.

It is disheartening that the relentless pursuit of power remains the main driving force for many of Lebanon's political leaders. Elsewhere, political ambition might be legitimate and justifiable if aimed at serving the nation. But in Lebanon, political ambition has become a means to dominate the country's resources and secure sectarian gains.

Finally, a heartfelt plea from Lebanon on the brink of collapse: "Fear God and unite," and elect a president with a clear vision and the genuine tools to achieve change.

Elect a president courageous enough to confront corruption, reform the political system, and ensure social justice.

Elect a president who will lead Lebanon into a new phase of stability, prosperity, and the establishment of a true state.

This is the greatest challenge facing the Lebanese, and it will only be achieved if all wills align to place Lebanon’s interests above all else.
